The liver plays a vital role in many body functions e.g. metabolism and storage of nutrients, digestion of fats and it also detoxifies the body of any potentially harmful pathogens floating around. Samylin is a feeding supplement designed to provide your dog’s liver with all the antioxidants it needs to be able to protect it from any potentially damaging free radicals and pathogens in the body on a daily basis.
SAMYLIN helps protect the liver via a complex of antioxidants that work synergistically to provide the best possible protection. It contains the antioxidant Glutathione precursor SAMe and thiol donor Silybin, vitamin E and C for management of liver disorders.

S-adenosyl L-methionine (SAMe) - the S-isomer, S-SAMe is included in Samylin and is the active formula, integral to proper liver function. It comes with an enteric coating on Samylin to ensure stability and bioavailability. All our products are manufactured in Lytham, Lancashire, to GMP standards. Silybin - the most active molecule found in milk thistle extract. Silybin in Samillin is conjugated with phosphatidylcholine, which increases bioavailability, facilitating its action as a free radical scavenger in the liver. Vitamin E - a very potent antioxidant and fat-soluble vitamin that can support hepatocyte function within the fat-soluble wall of cell membranes.
