VetPlus Coatex Skin and Coat - for Cats and Dogs
Coatex Liquid contains high levels of Essential Fatty Acids (EFAs) to help maintain healthy skin and a healthy coat in cats and dogs.
Essential Fatty Acids cannot be synthesized by cats or dogs, so your pet's diet must contain sufficient EFAs. Coatex can be used for the general maintenance of a healthy coat and skin structure, as well as to help skin and coat disorders that show signs of EFA deficiency, for instance:
- Dull coat
- Dry skin
- Scaly skin
- Itchy skin
- Poor hair growth
Coatex contains the most up-to-date, scientifically proven blend of omega-6 and -3 EFAs and as it is from a borage oil source it contains more than double the concentration of traditional oils such as evening primrose oil.
Each pump of Coatex contains Linoleic Acid (LA) 190mg, Gamma Linoleic Acid (GLA) 110mg, Eicosapentaenoic Acid 15.4mg, Docosahexanoic Acid 10.7mg, Vitamin E 10mg, Vitamin A 100iu, Vitamin D3 30iu.
Dosage: Give one pump per 10kg body weight daily for four to six weeks depending on results and other concurrent regimes.
Coatex EFA contains a proven blend of Omega 3 and Omega 6 EFAs. The quantities are specifically formulated to support cats' health, and it's a better blend of ingredients than using a single source of EFAs, such as evening primrose oil. All our products are manufactured in Lytham, Lancashire, to GMP standards.
