How to order +
  1. Browse www.merceariadocao.pt, choosing the category(s) and subcategory(s).
  2. View the product(s) that interest you. Click on the article to enter the product page.
  3. View the information (reference, photo, description, composition, available colors and sizes, and price).
  4. Select an item and add it to your shopping basket. Then you can choose to continue shopping or proceed to checkout.
  5. If you wish to process your order, you have the option to do so by registering or completing the purchase without registration. In the upper right corner of the screen, you can follow the number of items and value in your cart.
  6. After entering the data and verifying that all the order details are correct, you must finalize the order.
  7. The address where you want to receive your order may differ from the billing address. Select a payment method: Credit Card, ATM Reference, or PayPal.
  8. Confirm your order by clicking on “Checkout” to complete the process. You will be redirected to the order confirmation page with all details. You will also receive an email with your order confirmation.
  9. As soon as payment confirmation is received, your order will be processed and delivered to the distribution company. You will be notified of this via an email with the respective tracking number.
  10. Once the operation is complete, the respective invoice/receipt will be sent to you by e-mail.

Shipping and Delivery +

Delivery Times:

MERCEARIA DO CÃO orders daily. Within Mainland Portugal, shipments take at least two to three business days. For the archipelago of Madeira and the Azores, we will send to the freight forwarder on the Continent designated by the customer, indicating all the necessary data for delivery, the rest being borne by the customer. 

Due to the new reality that the country and the world go through, all orders may suffer delays in their deliveries. 
We appreciate your further understanding. 

Delivery Guarantee: in the event of loss of registered shipments, Mercearia do Cão undertakes to refund the customer the full amount of his order. In case the order is returned to the sender we call to make new delivery . In case the customer is absent at the time of delivery of the order, it will be delivered to transporting collection point (See where here) 

Out of Stock: customers will be refunded the full amount of items that cannot be sent to them due to out of stock.

Returns +

You can return any item you order in the online store up to 15 days after the purchase of your order. Returned items must be returned unused and in the original condition in which you received them, and must be accompanied by the respective invoice. In case the return is due to a defect in the product or an error of the responsibility of MERCEARIA DO CÃO, we will also refund the amount charged for the postage (if the order includes only the returned product). We recommend returning the items via a registered courier service and obtaining proof of shipping, since we are not responsible for any goods lost during transport. Items are your responsibility until they reach our warehouse. Along with the return, you should send an email to geral@merceariadocao.com with all the details of the return as well as the request for the requested replacement item. In this way we will be able to help and pool all efforts to process returns via mail as soon as possible. When your items are accepted again at our warehouse, you will be sent a replacement item, along with an email confirming the new shipment. You can send the article (s) to the following address:
